There something scientifically cool about modern day wine making. Darioush winery proudly displays their ultra clean setup right next to the tasting room. I was drawn to the magnificent stainless steel vats that lined the walls of this room. What amazing liquid poetry do they contain?
Darioush Winery in Napa had this amazing equine inspired entrance. Certainly worth visiting for photos, wine, and better yet, both. There was something about the horses that appeared to be flying high atop the numerous pillars that lined the entrance to the tasting room. I was compelled to make it my wallpaper and so it has been for a while.
One of my favorite Napa wineries has to be Castillo de Amorosa, with a name like that, how can anyone not like it? Here is a corridor that seemed a little sketchy, perhaps leading to the dungeon?
This shot was taken at the oldest Asian estate and gardens in the Western Hemisphere, Hakone Gardens. It amazing that a place like this exists just a few short minutes from Silicon Valley.
Photos are great aren’t they? They hold so much feeling, emotion and memories. Looking at this picture conjures happy memories of my first trip to the great city of New York. I remember, the sights, the sounds and the people I went with and met. The only problem is I don’t remember where I took this particular shot, haha. If anyone knows, I would be greatly indebted to you.
